Opened in April 2016, the apartments enjoy prime position on the riviera or Riva, and it is here where life on the Dalmatian coastline is best enjoyed. The Riva – from where we take our name – has long been a central part of life in all seaside towns, and the Riva has evolved into a charming fusion of enchanting sightseeing and authentic daily living. The Riva is a reflection of each particular towns urban identity and as such it is so much more than a physical location – it is part of the very soul of Croatian seaside living.
In Split, Riva Agava and Riva Palma are neighbouring apartments on the second floor of a lovely four-floor stone-clad building situated directly on the extensive Split Riva, which is the largest and most famous Riva in all Croatia. Although boasting separate entrances and unique identities, the two apartments can be combined to form a large spacious apartment, which we have named Riva Luca.
In Hvar, Riva Lavanda occupies the top floor of a three-floor 400-year-old house built directly on the Riva. From our perfectly positioned terrace, you are meters away from the gently lapping waters of the old harbour and you can hear the rhythmic bobbing of wooden fishing boats as surely as if you were actually sitting in them.
Croatia has many delights but the warm enveloping culture surely ranks highest among them. To live on the Riva, within strolling distance of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, fresh produce markets and ancient alleyways, and always be immersed in the Dalmatian way of life, is surely the best way to understand our delightful country.
